TMCC Kids Multisport Camp

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The purpose of this programme is to equip participants with:
- Mental toughness tools and techniques for concentration and cohesion
- Mental wellness tools and techniques for accomplishment and growth mindset
- Exercise and sport sciences knowledge and skills to take care of their body through nutrition, and exercise and fitness
- Fundamental movement skills to build a strong foundation for future sports and recreational physical activities
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the programme, participants should be able to:
- Develop nine (9) fundamental movement skills (4 locomotor, 5 object control)
- pply concentration skills to focus on what’s important
- Apply cohesion skills to work well with others
- Apply accomplishment strategies to work towards their personal goals
- Apply growth mindset strategies to cope in the face of adversities
- Apply sport nutrition strategies for better hydration
- Apply exercise and fitness strategies to strengthen their body
LEARNING METHODOLOGY
This programme is made up of the following:
- Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) assessment
- Multisport activities for applying the mental toughness and mental wellness skills
- Activity-based sessions to apply exercise and sport sciences knowledege and skills
- Self-reflection/action planning activities
