Centralised Handicapping System (CHS) By SGA
14 Jul, 2016

On 4 August 2016, Singapore Golf Association (SGA) will launch the Centralised Handicapping System (CHS) for its Ordinary and Associate Members.

With CHS, Golf scores can be posted anywhere and anytime either by the clubs or individually by golfers through club terminals, via the Internet or through the phone app.

While CHS can easily track golfers playing at any golf courses in Singapore, golfers will still need to post their scores in order to avoid being awarded a penalty score.

Tanah Merah Country Club Members (Golfing Members only) are requested to Register at the SGA CHS website at https://chs.sga.org.sg/#/Registration is now open and will close on 25 July 2016.

During registration, golfers are required to fill in their personal details requested and indicate that they give consent to their data being collected, used and/or disclosed.

For Members whose home club is at Tanah Merah Country Club, please indicate your name & gender coding (00, 99, 01,02 etc.) as stated in the Club Handicapping System, e.g. L123400.

Golfers who have successfully registered and have their membership details authenticated by their home club will receive an email from SGA’s CHS on 4 August 2016 to activate their account. They will also be requested to set their password before they can start using CHS. In addition, golfers will be required to give their consent again before activation is successful.

26 July till 03 August 2016 – Black out period for Score posting

Please do not post any scores during this black out period to facilitate migration of data and transition from club’s handicapping system to CHS.

Please call Garden Golf Office @ 6592 0343 or Tampines Golf Office @ 6592 0345 for further enquiries/assistance.
